Description: This is an introduction to intelligence for anyone working in the computer security environment. The course teaches foundational definitions of Intelligence, highlighting the differences between some computer security industry practices and what CIDC does. The course focuses on Intelligence processes and data exchange between the security team and Intelligence providers. Key takeaways from the training are: an understanding and use of ‘Situational Awareness’, an appreciation of the role of fusion analysis versus technical analysis, and how to leverage forecasting.
