Cybersecurity and Technology

Rapid developments in digital technology are transforming our industry sectors. The new world is one where technology enables us to globally connect at a level we have never engaged with before.

CSCSS analyzes the impact of next-generation technologies utilizing the internet on our ability to create stable, secure societies.

Technology plays a crucial role in shaping the new political, economic and national security questions that we will need to solve. Technology enables new forms of social interaction that also come with their negative consequences, such as cyber bullying, fraud, cyber terrorism and increased exposure to cyber crime. At the same time, the decentralized structure of the internet allows for new forms of supra-international organization which challenge existing norms and institutions.
