Center for Strategic Cyberspace + Security Science (CSCSS) announces General Hayden as Keynote Speaker for Washington Cyber Intelligence Geopolitical Summit
CSCSS is pleased to announce that General Michael Hayden, one of the United States’ most recent and distinguished military luminaries, will be offering his insight and perspectives on the threats and opportunities the Internet provides for nation states at our Washington Geopolitical Summit on May 4th 2015, 10.45am.
As former Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) from 1999-2005, and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 2006-2009, General Hayden has performed a crucial role in shaping United States’ policy on the Internet. His keynote presentation “Perspectives on Intelligence, Cyber Security and Geopolitics” will focus on his unique insights on global intelligence under the rapidly emerging cyber environment. General Hayden’s presentation will focus on the real world challenges and potential intelligence and policy solutions for states.
“Our Washington Geopolitical Summit is focused on the legal, policy and military issues that shape our cyber environment today”, says CSCSS President Richard Zaluski. “The Summit is specifically focused on conflicts that are crucial to understanding the current threat environment: Russia/Ukraine, Japan/China, and the Middle East. General Hayden’s contribution as a global leader in cyber intelligence will be of particular interest to our delegates, who come from both policy and commercial backgrounds, and understand how geopolitics impact on their organizations”.
