Cyberspace - Industry Security Working Groups (ISWG)

The ongoing formation of working groups to support cyberspace and cyber security research and development continues to be a focal point for CSCSS. These independently-chaired working groups explore convergent, leading-edge topics relevant to security today, while keeping pace with emerging threats posed in cyberspace, and new regulatory and legislative issues.

Our current working groups are:

  • Cyber Security Practices
  • Cyberspace Law
  • Internet Governance
  • Cyber Warfare and Arms Control
  • International Issues Working Group
  • CXO Forum (for CISO/CIO/CFO/CTO/CEO)
  • National Cyber Security Initiatives
  • Critical Infrastructure
  • Research and Development

The purpose of these Working Groups is to provide a strategic level forum for public-private industry, international cyber-based agencies, government, and academia to collaborate and provide direction on the effective implementation of cyber security. Our goal is to facilitate the development, implementation, and promotion of standards and technologies related to cyberspace, cyber warfare, and cyber security to industry, government, and academia.
