CSCSS Announces Cyber Intelligence Summit USA Partnership

WASHINGTON, D.C, LONDON, UK, September 11, 2013 - It was announced today that the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace + Security Science / CSCSS has entered into an agreement to Launch a Summit series “Cyber Intelligence Summit" in North America.
The Center for Strategic Cyberspace + Security Science in partnership with Intelligence- Sec will host joint Summits to discuss Strategic Cyberspace Intelligence issues, trends and challenges. This Strategic three-year agreement between CSCSS and Intelligence-Sec will feature a series of Summits in select cities in the United States and will leverage our joint capabilities to deliver engagement on the hard issues in cyberspace.

With an inaugural Summit scheduled for June 2014 in Washington DC, we look forward to the engagement of our CSCSS Advisory to deliver direction and insight on dates and locations for follow on events. Our current engagement partners include representation from the FBI, Infragard and other key industry organizations.
In launching this program, both CSCSS and Intelligence Sec agreed on the need to seek high level discussion on ‘cyber’ as a foundation to further develop cyberspace security and the important role of senior level / executive engagement from the public-private sector, and academia in this process. The summits will focus on the obstacles, cyber law, Intelligence, transnational cyber policy, cyber trends, challenges as well as opportunities.
